13-14 March`Green and Yellow Latifa`

introduced by Emilio Ankur Mercuriali

When we experience life from essence it becomes more real and we become more real.

One day in essence is worth a lifetime.

We are starting a journey into the Lataif, a system derived from the Sufi tradition and adapted by Faisal Muqaddam to the language of our times.

These Lataif are living qualities of our being that are associated with colours and states that can be lived and integrated.

In this journey our first door will open to the

White Latifa:

The Latifa of Will. The father aspect of essence.

It provides inner support, inner solidity and a sense of being capable and committed. Confidence that comes when we are connected to Being. Effort-less action, spontaneous doing. An inner sense that everything is OK

the second door will open to the

Red Latifa:

The Latifa of strength. An expansive force that supports us towards being an independent individual and to let go of the old structure and limitations. Passionate vitality that gives us courage to be in the world and face its challenges. We will here look at our relationship to mother.

The next door will open to the

Black Latifa:

The Latifa of Peace. The door to inner silence and intuition. The black death in the sufi tradition,"Die before you die".

The power to erase the content of the mind and bring us peace. Here we will be looking at our ego defence layers.

Last door will open to the Green and Yellow Latifa.

Green Latifa:

The Latifa of compassion. It allows us to have a profound understanding and compassion for our ego structure.

Compassion is giving space to truth to open wounds. This releases the sadness and the hurt allowing the healing nectars to emerge.

Yellow Latifa:

The Latifa of Joy; Joy brings lightness, delight, enjoyment, happiness and sweetness. The Sun shining within. We usually experience joy for a moment when our desires are fulfilled. Here joy comes from the fulfilment of having realised our being and can become a state.

Life becomes a playful adventure.

With the help of essence we will now continue the journey towards finding our inner guide, Kiddir, what we call the Diamond Body.

Will will have learned how to recognise the attacks of the superego (inner judge) and how to use the gentle power of self-inquiry.
